A new year is around the corner so what I wanna know is how you all feel about New Year’s Resolution’s? Write in the comments ⬇️ your thoughts on the subject & if you do believe in them, what are some of your resolutions.
My initial idea for this post was to talk about how I think New Year’s Resolution’s are stupid but then I thought maybe some people really believe in them so I’m going to talk about both the yay & the nay.
For me, personally, I’ve always thought that New Year’s Resolution’s were the stupidest idea because they’re setting you up for disappointment. Let me explain.
For those who don’t have will-power, determination, self-motivation, whatever you wanna call it, are probably the one’s who think New Year’s Resolution’s are going to work. I say that because they they’re usually the ones who need a start date, start time, goal dates so they can track their progress etc. I know a lot of people who need reassurance & motivation because they can’t do it on their own.
Me on the other hand, I have so much will-power that I could share some with others. I don’t need no silly New Year’s Resolution’s to crush one of my goals, I do it all-year-round.
To other’s who are like me, also don’t need no New Year’s Resolution’s because their crushing their dreams every day, all year. I applaud to those who can because not a lot of people can & I also applaud to those who think they can.
Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.
~ Henry Ford
Ford is 100% right. Our minds are so powerful because whatever we think is what will manifest. If you know before starting your resolution that you won’t be able to follow through then you’re not going to follow through. On the other hand, if you know you’re going to crush your goal then you’re going too.
You don’t need a new year to start to set a new goal. Every day is a new opportunity to start a new goal, every day of every year but yet if New Year’s Resolution’s help you to set new goals, so be it. Not every method is going to work for everyone.
Enjoy your new year & use every day to achieve your goals no matter what.
