Now that I’ve caught your attention with my clever post title, you’re probably wondering what you’re going to read next.
Well, it’s probably not what you’re thinking but it might.
I’m gonna babble on about naps.
I never used to be one to nap but nowadays, it’s what saves me. When I was younger, I didn’t wanna hear the word nap. I thought napping was for the birds (people who can’t stay up all day) but now, I nap almost every day. I especially nap on days I have classes.
I’m someone that when I get over-tired, I get super cranky : don’t talk to me & don’t look at me. So, when I feel too tired to function, I take a nap. #NapsAreLife
I suffer from anxiety & depression so when I feel too sad to do anything, I take a nap & it tends to help me and then when I feel anxious, stressed, I take a nap. A little time out of my head is what helps me a lot and that’s exactly what naps do.
While naps do not necessarily make up for inadequate or poor quality nighttime sleep, a short nap of 20-30 minutes can help to improve mood, alertness and performance.

I love sleeping. Sleeping is one of my favorite things to do because it get’s me out of my head. It stops all the noise & let’s me relax.
My favorite spot to nap is on the couch. Yes, my bed is comfy but yet, the couch is my napping spot. I love to lay on the couch with a fluffy blanket & let myself fall asleep.
There’s many things that get me out of my head but yet, there’s nothing like taking a good, long nap.
Damn right 👆🏼. That’s me. I’m such a big introvert that I always wanna stay home so when I go out, I wanna hurry my outing to come back home to take a nap. I always state that “the couch is calling my name.”
Naps are what recharge me. I feel like it helps to keep me feel like myself. You know that snickers commercial? The one that you’re so hungry you don’t feel like yourself. Well, it’s true for tiredness too. It makes you not feel like yourself when you’re too tired and naps are the cure. Food is the cure for feeling hangry & sleep is the cure for feeling cranky.
All in all, naps help me feel a little more like myself, so whenever you don’t feel like yourself, try to take a nap.
